the crook foot, 5'5 sojourner






 stringerless with carbon strip on the deck
wide point pushed far forward on toe side into parabolic rail...heal side straight line into a goiter right in front of the back foot. kind of like a squiggly single concave with a little V on the goiter. help me Rhonda
set up as a single fin b/c your guess is as good as mine

get them working young...

make sure thats cold water wax kid, aint no pansies around here

5 5 free of findage

 above...rear foot placement is below the rail line
 above...drastic sweep thinger bobber...water run off flat area and wrap this rail ...no hard edge except on tailblock...really big single concave towards the front

this is a finless design ive been thinking of for a while and finally had the opportunity to do.  cut out of a +4" blank gave me enough room to shape a massive concave from the nose to ahead of the back foot.  flat on the tail with a really drastic sweep onto the rails .  the back foot placement is actually below the rail line.  in theory this will create lift in the front and push the tail back allowing the lowered foot placement to put enough pressure on the rails that should have the water wrapping around it to create hold.  ????  if it is a pooper in the water it should make a fun sled in the winter.
