Interesting fin profile. They look like they have a mini cutaway at the tips. Would love to hear your idea behind this or on how the fins feel to ride. Great looking work.
yea for sure, these fins are something i have been working on for a while. they are a high aspect fin that is a combo of a MR 78 fin and a regular old keel fin...so it is the higher standing performance keel with a little more base, the cut away allows to more of the fin where i want it and less where i dont....i think??? tell you the truth, they are just fun for me and i dont really know the whole "why" part of it! ...but i do think that on the asyms, i have had better feeling boards when i keep the fins on the rail as opposed to a center fin. i would say this set up is trying to emulate a twinzer without the extra fin...hope this helps
